deva daisy designs is a pure treasure trove of 1950’s love. The designs are all created by Deva Booth, mixing Scandinavian inspired themes with a cool, calm retro palette. Hand printed here in Manchester, snap up a tea towel today.
I went to the New Designers exhibition at The Business Design Centre in Islington. The exhibitors are the best of this year’s graduates from all over Britain.
This week it is almost all textiles. There is another show next week. An almost overwhelming collection of pattern hits you as you walk around. Masses of talent.
I took a few photographs of prints and things which caught my eye.
Above is the work of Deva Daisy Booth from the University of Bolton. The rich golden ocre colours suited her mid century inspired designs very well.
